Ayeyawady Women FC was established in 2024 and represents the Ayeyawady Region. In their debut season in the 2024 Myanmar Women’s League, they finished in third place. The club continued its rapid rise and achieved its greatest success by winning the Myanmar Women’s League Championship in the 2025–26 season.
